Vaseegaran is playing the lead role in the movie. Music is scored by Deva. Lyrics are penned down by Gangai Amaran, R.Sundar Rajan and Pa.Vijay.
Vaseegaran aka Fazal Ahmed's looks captivate at first glance. The lad, flush with the reviews for his role of rich kleptomaniac John Vaseegaran in Bharathirajaa's latest flick "Kangalal kaidhu sei", looks like he is straight from a modelling school.
In reality, he is going on 20 and hails from the predominantly rural Palladam, near Coimbatore. "My looks suited the character I played. The director liked my body language. He believed it could help me essay the role," he says.
Ask him about working with Bharathiraja, known for his short fuse, and he stumps you by saying that the veteran director was friendly. "People have told me he is a terror on the sets. But, I had an altogether different experience. He is a good teacher and brings out the best in you. He allowed me to interpret my role and did not interfere much."
"It doesn't really make any difference. Movies only act as a reference," he explains. After watching the premiere of the movie in Chennai, Vaseegaran rushed to his hometown to see it in his family theatre.
